Funeral, Wake & Tribute Video Service
There are two main reasons for recording your funeral proceedings. First, it is normal to be too grieved to notice much of the funeral proceedings, or friends and relatives words of condolence. Second, not everyone is able to attend on the day.
A DVD or video file which can be viewed at any time afterwards, and sent to absent friends, is the perfect solution.
While some funeral parlours offer an "in-house" video service, usually involving fixed cameras, this is not their core business and the result will be fairly basic.
Quite simply, I and my assistant (wife Sandie) will record it all, usually using two cameras positioned as discreetly as possible. In addition to the actual proceedings, I offer the additional option of recording individual messages from all or selected attendees. This can be before or after the actual service, or at a wake. Filming of the wake is also offered as an option.
The other video service associated with funerals is the tribute video, usually played at the funeral service and/or wake. I will produce this for you, either at short notice when the passing has not been expected, or in advance where the opposite is the case. Please see the Tributes menu item for details.
